Responsibilities

Investigate and identify solutions to software and hardware problems
Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
Ask specific customer questions to understand the root cause of the problem quickly
Follow up on IT system issues until they are resolved within agreed timeframes
Take a series of actions with customers, either by phone, email or chat, until they fix a technical issue
Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. software engineers)
Provide your customers with accurate and timely feedback
Refer to the internal database or external resources to make available correct technical solutions
Make sure all issues are properly logged
Prioritize and manage multiple open issues at once
Follow up with customers to ensure their IT systems are fully operational after troubleshooting
Generate accurate and timely reports
Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
Maintain happy relationships with customers
